Bavvatharani Ravindran
Ms. Bavvatharani Ravindran was born on 04 August 1990, in a beautiful island which is called as pearl of Indian ocean; in her country Sri Lanka. Ms.Bavvatharani Ravindran: Social Activist
Ms. Bavvatharani Ravindran was born on 04 August 1990, in a beautiful island which is called as pearl of Indian ocean; in her country Sri Lanka. She grew up in Nallur, Jaffna. She is an energetic and passionate person; especially interested in learning her cultural values and exploring nature. Her parents are her mentors who practice and encourage those interests of her in their day-to-day life which were embedded in her. That encouragement drove her to excel. Apart from life, there is a strong constitution and an abiding connection to the nature, grew up from her childhood as her parents taught the bond between nature and humans which lifts the spirit up for her and her brother. She was brought up with an understanding of the power of nature and the galaxy along with her cultural values. Bavvatharani shows the utmost respect for her parents who are always there to support and teach good values. Whole heartedly to Bavvatharani Mr. Thushitharan Manivannan, her husband genuinely wanted her to succeed in her ambitions and never failed to encourage and support her as her parents do. His beloved family too always support her in her activities.
After she passed out from high school, she explored various IT educational sectors and gained experiences in several working environments. She earned lots of designations and posts from her school days. She wrote more than 20 articles in English language and all of them were published in a German newspaper and got an award from the newspaper. She was the president of Rotary club of Chunnakam Heritage in 2019-20 and still she works for the development of the society as a director of the club. She is the library and information officer at the British Council, Jaffna. She has been serving the same for nearly 7 years at the office and in charge of the essential responsible for Jaffna branch library operations.
Bavvatharani’s accomplishments did not end there. In 2022, she got promoted to be the Joint Coordinator for Environmental Framework of British Council, Sri Lanka. The Exceptional Woman of Excellence Award Under Asia’s women of influence, Asia awards powered by Rula awards and World Research Congress will definitely provide her an extra boost in her innovative path.
